The Chicago River at Clark Park, near Roscoe Village

Skokie Lagoons, Winnetka (Cook County Forest Preserves)

Busse Reservoir, Elk Grove Village (Cook County Forest Preserves)

Lake Tampier, Orland Park (Cook County Forest Preserves)

Requirements:

Launch site staff responsible for getting customers safely in and out of kayaks, canoes, row boats and fishing boats

This is a physically demanding job. A ton of heavy lifting and lots of time working in the sun.

We expect our staff to have top-notch customer service skills and an ability to patiently teach basic boating and safety

A sense of empathy--being able to understand what our customers want, expect or need when they rent a boat from us

A sense of humor and fun

Pay: $15.00 per hour
