Our client, a leading chemical manufacturer, is seeking a dynamic Capital Project Manager to lead projects from conception to commissioning, ensuring cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.     Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead capital projects from initial concept through startup, focusing on large-scale continuous chemical operations.

    • Serve as the primary liaison between project teams, operations, maintenance, and EH&S, ensuring seamless integration of regulatory and operational requirements.

    • Provide strategic economic insights to the commercial team to support project advocacy and decision-making.

    • Develop, maintain, and manage project schedules and budgets while overseeing engineering and construction contractors.

    • Identify and implement best practices by incorporating "Lessons Learned" from previous projects.

    • Actively participate in budget planning, status meetings, and management reviews, offering input and resolving project challenges.

    • Drive risk mitigation strategies by developing and monitoring project risk registers throughout development and execution.

    • Ensure all project documentation is complete, up-to-date, and properly stored for future reference.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related field preferred).

    • 10+ years of project management experience with at least 15 years of operational experience in a chemical manufacturing facility.

    • Professional certifications (PE, PMP, PMI) are a plus.

    • Experience with AACE International estimating practices is a strong advantage.

    • Strong knowledge of industry codes and regulations (ASME, NEC, etc.) for natural gas and chemical facilities.

    • Proficiency in project scheduling software, MS Office, SAP, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other industry tools.

    • Proven ability to manage multiple large-scale capital projects simultaneously.

    • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship.
