Title: Capital Sales Executive - Robotic Surgery
Company: Global industry leader and manufacturer of advanced technologies for neuro, spine, and general surgery used in the OR.
Territory: Northeastern region, can be based in any city near major airport - Greater NY area, Cleveland, DC, Baltimore, Charlotte, Philadelphia, or Boston.
Newly developed team and territories will be drawn around location of hired candidate.
Responsibilities:
Promote a technologically advanced surgical robot that assists in specialty neuro & spinal surgeries. Responsible for contributing to the company's strategic objectives of revenue growth, market leadership and quality customer service through the sale of assigned products to targeted accounts, and the development of new customers in assigned territory. Aids in exceeding established territory and regional sales objectives.
Goal is to grow customer base with existing products, to launch new generations of the devices to these customers in the coming years.
- Develop a sales strategy to identify and pursue opportunities for assigned capital products within territory.
- Implement executive level selling strategies by consistently and systematically initiating sales calls and contacts.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to help achieve personal sales goals.
- Develop and deliver proposals and action plans that build trust and developing relationships with customers at the highest levels of decision makers within target accounts.
- Maintain executive presence and professionalism sufficient to interact with C-level executives.
- Control the sales process through effective targeting of buyers and influencers.
- Overcome objections and obstacles to win opportunities within territory.
- Support and observe surgical procedures as needed to remain informed of industry trends and surgical outcomes.
- Coordinate product evaluations and implementations for clinical staff.
- Respond appropriately to customers in accordance with Company policy.
- Act as liaison between customer and internal business units.
- Drive new business development to proactively grow revenue within assigned territory.
- Communicate comprehensive and efficient sales reports to management as directed.
- Maintain weekly expense reports.
- Maintain accurate customer records, call documentation, and written correspondence.
- Attends training sessions as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
- Maintain credentialing within assigned accounts.
- Must comply with applicable ISO and FDA regulations as stated in Quality Manual.
- Must embody the Company’s Vision, Mission and Values.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years surgical capital equipment sales experience - robotic products a plus
- Product launch experience
- Documented sales success throughout career
- Change-Agent selling abilities
- Exemplary hunting and prospecting skills
- Valid driver’s license and registration
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (i.e., at least 2 weeks after last dose) and, if hired, present proof of vaccination by start date
- Ability to travel throughout assigned territory and as needed for corporate meetings/trainings
Compensation:
$145-150k Base + Uncapped Commission $115k variable comp at plan + company car, gas card, excellent benefits, 401k, expense account.
Very reasonable quotas, with accelerator bonuses.
