    • 2+ years of Commercial Real Estate experience
    • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal and non-verbal (the ability to “read” people and anticipate unspoken needs is hard to teach, but very important in this business)
    • An engaging personality who can work with a variety of people, conduct meetings with clients, and build rapport with prospects
    • Has a natural competitive edge
    • Wants to be part of a winning team that supports each other
    • Sense of urgency and natural ability to triage emergencies
    • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks (because much is going on at any one given time)
    • Highest level of ethics and true commitment to always do the right thing
    • Entrepreneurial mindset—as a contingent fee business, there is no guaranteed salary and there is rarely someone telling you exactly what to do
    • The ability to close a long sales process
    • Understanding of financial data
    • Basic computing skills, specifically MS Office
    • Professionalism, drive, and eagerness to learn

    Core Responsibilities

    • Generate leads and build relationships with potential buyers and sellers of multifamily properties in the local market
    • Work with clients to identify their investment criteria and develop customized investment strategies
    • Conduct market research and financial analysis to provide clients with detailed property evaluations, including income and expense projections, rent and market analysis, and investment returns
    • Negotiate purchase and sale agreements on behalf of clients
    • Collaborate with internal and external partners, including legal, financing, and brokerage teams, to facilitate successful transactions
    • Manage the due diligence process, including coordination of inspections, surveys, and title work
    • Maintain a high level of market expertise and awareness of industry trends and competitive landscape
    • Attend industry events and engage in networking activities to expand your professional network and generate new business opportunities
    • Consistently demonstrate the application of company values in all business interactions

    Compensation

    • Competitive commission package
    • Full commissioned brokers typically take home $200,000+ annually
