Weekend REQ: On call Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs?: No Open to accommodating block schedule?: Yes Locals Accepted: No - Candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility Pending License Accepted: N/a RTO Restrictions: Time off approved on an individual basis upon offer. Only 1 time off request per 13 week assignment. Guaranteed Hours: 70 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 10-hour shift per 2 weeks
UNIT INFORMTION: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart (PFO, TAVR, Mitral Clip) Interventional Radiology: Lines, Drains, Embolizations, Lower/upper extremities, Fistulas, Visceral Angio/intervention, Stroke Thrombectomy. Neurointervention CRM Device implants

Summary :
Performs direct and indirect functions in the EP Lab.
Assists all Physicians/staff with clinical and technical aspects of cardiovascular care performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Scrubs monitors and circulates in all invasive procedures in the EP lab.
Able to function on all cardiac alerts and emergent cases.
Responsibilities:
Assesses physical, psychosocial, and growth and development needs of the patient, completes pre, intra and post procedure assessment, informs nurse/MD of any changes in patient’s condition.
Develops a plan of care for procedure being performed, plan of care is individualized to include specific patient problems, needs and scheduled procedure.
Provides teaching and guidance to patients and/or family as well as staff members.
Able to execute x-ray for desired views- storing images, sets priorities for care of patients based on patient’s needs and resources available, identifies and performs appropriately in emergency patient care solutions.
Knowledge of set up and monitoring of patients
