Requirements
Minimum 2 years' experience on cardiac floor required
Travel experience required unless RN has more than 2 years of cardiac PCU experience
Prior experience with Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Sheath Removal, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management
Current BLS, ACLS and NIHSS
Must past EKG test prior to start

Job Details
Ratios: 1:4 for surgical step down, 1:5-6 for lower acuity
12-hour nights,
Float Requirement: Will follow unit rotation - not first to float
Weekend Requirement: 4 per 4 weeks

24-hour orientation
