    Job Description

    Position Highlights:

    • Inpatient cardiology-focused role within a regional medical center
    • Collaborate with cardiologists, intensivists, and the broader hospital team
    • Evaluate and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic cardiac conditions
    • Perform admissions, consultations, and daily rounding
    • Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and discharge planning
    • EPIC EMR and strong hospital support services

  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Possesses and maintains current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland required.
    • Possesses and maintains current Board Certification of Nurse Practitioner, Adult Gerontology or Acute Care certified preferred
    • Possesses and maintains current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification required.
    • Possesses and maintains, if applicable, appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
    • Experience in cardiology, ICU, or inpatient hospitalist settings strongly preferred
    • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and team-based care skills
