SCEE is seeking Expressions of Interests for various trades and labour on upcoming FIFO projects throughout Australia.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• 3-5 years experience in the Heavy Industrial Construction Industry
• Hold a current drivers licence
• Hold a OHS Construction White Card
• Hold relevant and current qualifications for position
• Strong commitment to health and safety

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, ability and/or physical demands required.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: High School diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:  Prior related experience and or training preferred but not required.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:  Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Ability to handle, lift and maneuver heavy merchandise. Ability to communicate with other teams of varying job functions. Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions. Willingness to learn how to design showroom vignettes. Experience handling hand and power tools. Able to multi-task.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL ABILITIES: 

While performing the essential duties and responsibilities of this job, the associate’s work varies between retail store and warehouse environments.  Frequently lifts at least one hundred ten (110) pounds, moves furniture and accessories, and climb ladders.  Continually walks, stands, bends, crouch, kneel, push and pull.  Occasionally work performed at buildings under construction. Uses regularly hands and fingers, handle or feel or use power tools; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. Travel required.
