    Position Summary:

    The EHS Administrator will support the EHS Department in development, implementation, and maintenance of the company's safety programs, policies, and procedures. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with OSHA standards, local regulations, and internal safety policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees, contractors, and visitors.


    **Key Tasks and Responsibilities **


    • Maintain and update safety records, documentation, and compliance reports.
    • Track and ensure completion of safety training, certifications, and other compliance-related activities.
    • Support the EHS Manager in implementing the company’s safety strategies and initiatives across job sites.
    • Assist with safety inspections and audits on job sites and office locations.
    • Prepare and assist in reporting audit findings and corrective actions to management.
    • Track incidents, accidents, near misses, and safety-related concerns.
    • Assist in the preparation and filing of incident reports, root cause analysis, and corrective action reports.
    • Monitor and report trends in safety-related incidents to identify areas for improvement.
    • Assist with maintaining regulatory compliance documentation (OSHA 300 Logs, Material Safety Data Sheets, etc.).
    • Support the team in maintaining and renewing safety certifications and permits for ongoing projects.
    • Assist in the coordination of safety training programs for employees and subcontractors, ensuring they are informed about safety procedures and company policies.
    • Maintain training records and ensure employees are up-to-date with certifications (e.g., First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10/30, etc.).
    • Support employee safety awareness campaigns and programs.
    • Assist with the monitoring, ordering, and inventory of safety equipment and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
    • Maintain and organize all safety-related documentation, including training records, incident reports, safety inspections, and compliance checklists.
    • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly safety reports for management.
    • Provide administrative support to the EHS department as needed.
    • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, safety committee activities, and training sessions.
    • Maintain an updated filing system for safety documents, ensuring all records are easily accessible.

    **Education/Experience **

    • High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • At least 2-3 years of experience in an EHS or safety-related role, preferably within the industrial or construction sector.
    • Experience with OSHA regulations and safety compliance is a plus.
    • First Aid/CPR certification preferred or willing to obtain.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management.
    • Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and safety management software.
    • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to analyze and resolve safety-related issues.

    • Ability to walk, stand, and move around job sites.

    • This position may require occasional travel to job sites.
    • The EHS Administrator may be exposed to outdoor environments and construction site conditions.
    • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required while on job sites.
