Pay scale:

Base pay $12.00

Any shift that starts during these times will be paid at the rates listed below 1st Shift (7 am to 3 pm)- $1.00 more= $13.00 2nd Shift- (3 pm to 11 pm)-$2.00 more= $ 14.00 3rd Shift- (11 pm to 7 am $3.00 more= $15.00

Your Role: As a care aide, you’ll be helping individuals with daily tasks, offering companionship, and assisting with personal care, meal prep, errands, and more. Switch Up Your Routine: Work in Homes or Our Adult Day Center!

At Destiny's Caring Hands, we give you the flexibility to choose where you work. If you enjoy home care, you’ll be helping individuals with daily tasks like personal care, meal prep, errands, and more. However, if you want to change things up, you can also pick up shifts at our Adult Day Center!

A Day at the Adult Day Center:

The Adult Day Center is a vibrant, supportive environment where seniors can enjoy socialization, recreational activities, and engaging programs while receiving the care they need. Here’s what a typical day looks like:

Social Engagement: Our clients participate in group activities like arts and crafts, games, and light exercise to keep their minds and bodies active.

Personal Care: Our caregivers assist with activities of daily living, including grooming, dressing, and meal assistance.

Nutritional Meals: We provide healthy, balanced meals and snacks throughout the day.

One-on-One Attention: Whether it's reading, chatting, or assisting with a favorite hobby, you’ll get the chance to bond with clients in a relaxed and caring environment.

Working at the Adult Day Center allows you to interact with a wonderful group of people and brings variety to your day. It's an excellent way to offer companionship and care while getting a break from the typical home care setting.

Your Role:

Whether you work at clients' homes or at our Adult Day Center, you'll be a key part of providing meaningful care. Your responsibilities may include assisting with personal care, light housekeeping, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and providing companionship. Requirements:

18 years of age or older.

Pass competency test with 80% or better.

1 Year of Patient Care Experience as a Home Health Aide—HHA, PCA, or caregiver—is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidates.

Must have a reliable source of transportation, a valid driver’s license for two years (preferred but not required), and automobile insurance if driving while on the job or seeing multiple clients per day. We do have clients that require no transportation.

Must be able to pass criminal and driving background and drug screen.

HHA certificate (optional)

Must be available to work some weekends/holidays.
