    Job Summary

    We are seeking a Referral/Care Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will work in the front office of a busy Audiology practice that is well established and serves both adult and pediatric patients. The ideal candidate is friendly, committed to full time work, team-oriented with good computer/portal skills and can multi-task well.

    Responsibilities

    Collaborate with providers, patients, insurance companies, and healthcare staff

    Manage incoming patient referrals

    Obtain insurance pre-authorizations

    Verify insurance for hearing services and hearing aid benefits

    Schedule patients

    Appointment confirmations

    Prepare patient charts

    Provide support and coverage to front office in daily office operations as needed

    Support Aide in hearing aid check-in and prepare for delivery

    Answer phones, screen calls, take messages and follow-up on messages

    Perform monthly recall / mailings to patients that require appointments when indicated

    Qualifications

    Previous experience as a Care Coordinator or in a similar position is preferred

    Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

    Ability to manage multiple projects or tasks and prioritize appropriately

    Ability to work in fast-paced situations and make sound decisions quickly

    Excellent interpersonal skills and high level of compassion

    Strong verbal and written communication skills
