Assisting Hands Home Care is seeking a Care Coordinator to lead caregiver scheduling and ensure exceptional client care. As the central hub of our care delivery team, you will oversee scheduling operations, provide clear and compassionate communication to clients and caregivers, and ensure seamless care during both business hours and after-hours escalations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
Schedule Management
Oversee all caregiver schedules, including shift assignments, call-offs, and time-off requests.
Match caregivers to clients based on availability, skillset, and personality to promote long-term success.
Track and report key scheduling metrics daily, summarizing caregiver coverage, trends, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with other departments while maintaining ownership of scheduling decisions.
Client & Caregiver Communication
Communicate compassionately and professionally with clients and families, especially during times of distress.
Collaborate with caregivers to address scheduling changes, shift challenges, and performance concerns.
Escalation Management
Take ownership of after-hours scheduling escalations, ensuring smooth handoffs, timely resolutions, and continuity of care.
Proactive Problem-Solving:
Identify scheduling gaps, caregiver shortages, and operational challenges, proposing solutions to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
Monitor caregiver roster health and partner with Recruiting to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
Collaboration:
Work closely with Owners and other departments to support caregiver coaching, client onboarding, and successful caregiver-client matches.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience
Minimum 2 years managing employee schedules, preferably in a home care or healthcare setting.
Skills
Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to manage scheduling operations independently and confidently.
Compassionate demeanor with clients and families in need.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
