Job Title: Care Lead – $16-$17/Hour with Gas Bonus Location: Kalamazoo, MI
Job Overview: We are looking for a professional and compassionate Care Lead to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with 2-3 years of caregiving experience who is skilled in using equipment like Hoyer lifts and gait belts. The position requires flexibility, travel, and a commitment to providing exceptional care.
Job Requirements:
Must be female.
At least 2-3 years of caregiving experience is required.
Proficient in using equipment such as Hoyer lifts, gait belts, and other mobility aids.
This role requires travel within a 50-mile radius as needed.
Must have flexible availability and reliable transportation.
Availability for every other weekend is required.
Strong leadership skills and a professional attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct caregiving support to clients, filling in shifts as needed (at least 50% of the schedule).
Conduct supervisor visits to monitor the quality of care and ensure client satisfaction.
Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
Ensure the safe and effective use of caregiving equipment.
Monitor and report client progress to the healthcare team.
Support and guide the caregiving team, maintaining high care standards.
