Care Ministries Assistant...this part-time 28-hour week position will serve as the class administrator for some of our adult classes and provide additional administrative assistance as needed at Chesterfield. Some evenings and the occasional weekend will be required. This person has a passion for Christ, can articulate the vision of this ministry, has a heart for relationships, and is committed to bringing spiritual health to the church.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee administration of all care classes and related events at The Crossing
- Maintain all communications with participants prior to and during classes
- Complete event request process and coordinate with other teams needed for events
- Create and maintain the registrations associated with these classes
- Reserve rooms for classes/events and be responsible for preparation, set-up, and clean-up of appropriate materials (name tags, folders, tablecloths, etc.)
- Assist participants with class/event check-in (some evenings required)
- Manage budget for assigned classes/events
- Work in conjunction with the class administrative team across all ministries and campuses to assist in coordinating special events when needed
- Assist the Digital Content Specialist with creation of Rock registrations and other tasks
- Make appropriate notes in ROCK database as necessary
- Attend administrative meetings
- Recruit, train, and entrust volunteers to be part of the administrative class team
ADDITIONA L JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative support to class teachers/pastors, specifically the Director of Care Ministries
- Assist with yearly baptism celebration
- Cover for front desk receptionist lunch breaks and other times as needed
- Maintain laundry/washing of tablecloths
- Arrange catering for quarterly all-staff lunches Help with special projects as needed
- Coordinate schedules to set up meetings/Interviews (Counselors specifically)
- Assist in meetings by taking notes/preparing resources
