    Position:

    Independent Contractor working as a Care Provider (internally known as Direct Support Provider) for Respite, Habilitation, and/or Attendant Care.

    At BP Warriors Therapy, we are seeking responsible, compassionate team members to join our team as Care Provider). As a Care Provider, you will work directly with individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes, providing essential caregiving services such as Respite, Habilitation, and Attendant Care. This flexible, rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and their families while managing your own schedule.

    Job Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Respite Care: Provide relief for family members by caring for individuals with developmental disabilities in their home environment.

    • Habilitation: Help individuals acquire or maintain life skills, including communication, daily living activities, and social behavior.

    • Attendant Care: Assist with daily personal care and tasks to support independence, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility.

    • Deliver services in a manner that promotes the dignity and well-being of the individual.

    • Collaborate with families and follow personalized care plans to ensure clients' goals are met.

    • Maintain accurate records of services provided and submit them promptly for billing.

    Compensation/Perks:

    • Competitive pay rates:

      • $21/hour for Habilitation services

      • $18/hour for Respite services

      • $19/hour for Attendant Care services

    Plus earn a $150 hiring bonus included in your first paycheck!

    • Flexible schedule – You can choose to work part-time with 1-2 clients, or work with 3+ clients if you are looking for something closer to full-time.

    Qualifications:

    • Must be at least 18 years old.

    • At least 3 months of caregiving experience (babysitting, working in a school or camp, etc.)

    • Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is a plus but not required.

    • Must pass a criminal history check and obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card.

    • CPR, First Aid, and other required certifications.

    • Ability to provide your own reliable transportation to client homes.

    • Must be able to communicate proficiently in English, both verbally and in writing.
