  • Responsibilities

    The Workforce Business Analyst is responsible for all data and reporting functions to support the workforce process.  Central to the responsibilities of the role is ensuring the integrity of the workforce/staffing data, ability to load and validate data contained within a centralized database, and the ability to communicate/coordinate effectively with multiple levels of management including executive level.  This role will work closely with the Division/Vertical/Branch Operations teams, Corporate Operations, and Human Resources to ensure data accuracy, complete trend analysis, develop and review budgets, and monitor operational metrics.  Day-to-day responsibilities include the following:

    • Ensure accurate workforce data collection and reporting daily
    • Coordinate with various operating groups to obtain and validate headcount staffing metrics
    • Review labor costs and overtime and suggest opportunities to reduce costs
    • Review data mapping for Vertical reporting to align internal reporting
    • Create/update workforce reports in Excel using Hyperion Smart View add-in
    • Partner with Branches/Verticals/Divisions on methods to manage workforce staffing
    • Develop, monitor & report against budgets
    • Prepare and distribute ad hoc workforce/staffing information to operational groups
    • Provide training and support for various workforce staffing systems (SilkRoad, Kronos time keeping, etc.)
    • Other responsibilities as assigned

    Required Skills

    • Excellent PC Skills including spreadsheet and data management proficiency (Excel, Hyperion Essbase, etc.)
    • Familiar with HR recruiting/staffing software is a plus (Applicant Tracking Systems, Onboarding, etc.)
    • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Ability to prioritize and work independently
    • Proactive problem solving ability
    • Strong sense of personal ownership of results

    Required Experience

    • 3+ Years of Finance and/or database experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent required
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Excel
    • Hands-on experience with Hyperion Essbase preferred
