    Job Summary: 

    The role of the Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) Program Supervisor is to support, guide, and train our county-wide IECMHC team. The IECMHC Program Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the program’s quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of the program ensuring activities are trauma informed, culturally responsive, and aligned with best practices. The IECMHC Program Supervisor works within and across systems, integrating mental health practices and trauma-informed care with cultural awareness and sensitivity. The IECMHC Program Supervisor may directly provide consultation services to enhance the capacity of teachers, administrators, and caregivers to respond to the social-emotional and behavioral needs of children and their families. This position works across a broad range of settings and will work collaboratively with the leadership team.

    Role requirements:

    • Licensed with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) -OR- eligible to be registered with the CA Board of Psychology as a Registered Psychologist.
    • At least three years of experience providing mental health services to children zero to five years of age.
    • At least one year of experience working as an Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultant.
    • Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in child development and infant, family, and early childhood mental health
