They are in search of a Territory Manager to oversee a crucial $8.5 – $9MM territory across WA, OR, CA, with some business activities in CO, AZ, & NM. This role is pivotal in managing and expanding the distribution network, including large farmers and growers.
This position offers a competitive compensation package, including a $90-130K base salary, quarterly bonuses that can reach up to 35% of the salary, a corporate card for travel and entertainment expenses, a company truck, and comprehensive insurance coverage.
Sales Representative Job Responsibilities
Manage and nurture existing relationships with small distributors and end users, aiming to balance relationship management and new business development.
Engage in direct communication with distributors, facilitating joint presentations or meetings with end users to optimize sales strategies.
Live and breathe the industry, leveraging an agricultural background to connect and build rapport with clients.
Coordinate with a nimble and responsive team to adapt strategies and meet market demands efficiently.
Qualifications
Strong background in Farm/Agriculture, with a deep understanding of the sector to effectively “talk the talk.”
Preferably located close to an airport to facilitate easy travel within the territory.
While knowledge of packaging or plastics is not necessary, an agricultural background is crucial.
Bilingual candidates, especially those who can speak Spanish, will have an added advantage.
Demonstrated ability to work within a metric-driven environment, with a focus on sales targets based on pounds of plastic sold.
