    POSITION PURPOSE / SUMMARY

    The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver quality, professional homemaking, attendant and respite care to clients as directed by corporate policy and procedures as directed by the In Home Services Manager.

    PREREQUISITES

    · Must be a minimum of 21 years of age

    · Pass pre-employment and random drug screening

    · Pass criminal background check

    · Tuberculosis screening

    · Active vehicle insurance and qualify for corporate insurance coverage

    · CPR and First Aid certification (provided by company)

    · Ability to learn and use a smartphone

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Perform in a professional manner and in accordance with corporation’s policies as defined in the Employee Handbook · Understand and operate in accordance with the In Home Care Policy and Procedure Manual, avoiding prohibited tasks not allowed under the organization’s Personal Service Agency licensing · Develop collaborative environment with team co-workers · Maintain required recordkeeping / documentation of services rendered using a designated smartphone application of Telephony system · Create and maintain communication with client to allow for awareness of their needs · Provide a communication channel between clients and management to allow for a deficiencies in care to be remedied, by either COA or another resource · Maintain confidentiality of corporate and client information · Provide direct assistance with household tasks, personal care needs and/or respite care and related activities needed by client as outlined in the Client Care Plan · Adherence to scheduled service hours and avoid unapproved overages · Other duties as assigned by In Home Services Manager or executive management

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS · This position requires good physical and mental agility and alertness · Maintain a consistent schedule which can accommodate ongoing care of assigned clients · Must have the ability to perform physical tasks in accordance with planned activities · Extensive walking and/or standing may be required at times · Daily tasks involve lifting up to 25lbs, carrying, bending, reaching, sitting, and standing · Adequate vision and hearing abilities are required for this position
