Job Summary

We are seeking an Experienced Caregiver to join our team in Home Care management. In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of a lovely couple with complexities that require a special Team Lead by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities for this specific client needs in the Reston, Va area include responsible house management, excellent communication skills in reporting to the family, team members and administrative staff. Critical thinking, prompt response time, communication via phone and computer skills are required. Other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards are running errands with your own reliable transportation. The ideal candidate is a self starter, patient, compassionate, and consistent while maintaining balance within this loving home.

Responsibilities

Providing companionship and conversation

Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing

Assist with mobility, walking, and physical therapy exercises

Prepare meals and snacks

Housekeeping activities

Medication reminders

Assist with errands, shopping and appointments

Educating team members on safety and care techniques

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, or similar role is required

First aid and CPR-certified

Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills

Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to stand, bend and lift

Compassionate, respectful, ethical and patient

Positive attitude and an open mind
