We are looking for a compassionate caregiver to assist a 25-year-old female client with Down syndrome, legal blindness, intellectual disabilities, limited verbal communication, and schizophrenia. This role focuses on enhancing her independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities:

Encourage independent living skills and provide support with daily tasks

Accompany her in community outings, exercise routines, and activities

Assist with toileting and personal care needs

Support her in attending medical appointments

Keep her engaged in active and meaningful activities

Schedule:

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 8 am - 4 pm

Potential for this role to expand to 5 days a week based on fit and client needs

Qualifications:

Must pass a Level 2 background check

Experience with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities is preferred
