Position: Experienced Caregiver (CG)

Location: Near the Arboretum, Austin, TX

Client: Elderly woman who has had a stroke

Responsibilities:

Transferring client in and out of bed, shower, and toilet

Assisting with hygiene and cleaning

Engaging the client with puzzles, reading, games, arts, and crafts

Accompanying client and husband to errands and appointments

Guided by the client's husband regarding the daily routine

Schedule:

3 days a week: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday

Shift: 9:30 AM – 8:30 PM (11 hours per day)

Meals:

Bring own lunch and snacks/beverages

Dinner provided

Qualifications:

Someone with a passion to help others!

At least 3 years of experience in caregiving

Experience with stroke patients and transferring techniques

Can engage socially with the client

Clean background record

Someone who can follow direction

Compensation:

Initial starting pay: $21/hour (depending on experience)

Opportunity for pay increase within the first couple of months

Option to work additional hours with same or our other clients

Additional Details:

Long-term position with a focus on building a strong relationship with the family
