With a client roster that includes many of the “who’s who” in hotels, restaurants, nightlife, spirits and cultural institutions, Carma Connected is South Florida’s premier communications agency. We are seeking a skilled, reliable and task-oriented Account Executive to join the team and support our rapidly growing organization.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience in lifestyle public relations plus impeccable writing skills, excellent client communication and outstanding existing relationships with media both locally and nationally.
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
· Supporting VPs in strategy development
· Managing multiple client accounts and maintaining daily client communication
· Writing press kit documents as well as media alerts, pitch letters, bios and other materials
· Consistently pitching and securing media coverage on behalf of clients on a local, regional, national and international level
· Coordinating and attending photoshoots, television shoots, interviews and other on-site events
· Monitoring trends and researching articles and suitable story opportunities/angles for clients
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
· Bachelor’s Degree or higher
· 2+ year’s experience in lifestyle public relations
· Strong organizational and communication skills
· Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
· Capacity to prioritize and work on multiple projects
· Ability to work independently and flexibly
· Attention to detail and accuracy
· Writing and editing skills
