    Agricultural Equipment Sales Position

    Description

    Carolina Harvestrax is a family-owned and -operated agricultural equipment dealership based in Monroe, NC. Our family has been farming in Union County for nearly 60 years, and we build on that experience and expertise to help identify and meet the product and service needs of farmers throughout the region. We approach sales with a service-first mentality, understanding first-hand the high level of service that farmers hope for and expect.

    Carolina Harvestrax is seeking a results-driven, highly motivated, and dynamic candidate to manage equipment sales and marketing, as our current sales manager is moving to a new industry.

    Responsibilities

    ·         Account Management

    o    Communicate regularly with current customers

    o    Create on-going reports to keep entire team up to date on customer status

    o    Cooperate with service and parts departments to manage customer needs and resolve issues

    o    Collaborate with service technicians to follow up on leads and to build service sales

    ·         Marketing

    o    Develop and execute social media strategy

    o    Maintain product inventory on website

    o    Promote company programs and product updates

    o    Learn about industry and competition to become a resource for current and potential customers

    ·         Sales

    o    Interact with manufacturers’ representatives regularly to create and manage orders

    o    Participate in product training courses to gain technical knowledge

    o    Plan and implement product demonstrations and customer appreciation events

    o    Complete and track transactions from first interest to post-sale support

    Requirements

    ·         Qualifications

    o    Sales and/or Account Management experience required

    o    High school diploma required; some higher education preferred

    o    Valid driver’s license with good driving record

    o    Willingness to travel to customer sites, sometimes overnight

    ·         Skills

    o    Outstanding communication and customer service skills

    o    Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail

    o    Strong computer skills, including a proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications

    Compensation

    ·         60k – 100k
