Job Summary
Carolina Signs and Wonders is looking to add to our existing team. We are focused in commercial signage. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, positive, task and quality focused, and organized to be a strong part of our team.
A Sign Fabricator Trainee is a professional, self-motivated team player with great interpersonal skills and values delivering excellence. The Sign Fabricator Trainee is also detail-oriented, works well in a fast-paced team environment as well as individually, and can efficiently manage working on multiple projects simultaneously. The Sign Fabricator Trainee is self-confident and is not afraid to show their professional ability, creative genius, and most importantly, have fun! This job will work closely with our fabricators, assist them, and ensure our shop is working well.
Responsibilities
Must be able to follow specific directions, work well under pressure and perform a variety of duties which may often change.
Must possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills and can work individually with little or no supervision or as a team player.
Must have knowledge of hand and power tools. Ability to weld, fabricate or paint a plus.
Must have a clean valid U.S. issued driver’s license. (Class B CDL license or higher is a plus.)
Drug, motor vehicle and criminal background check are required, we are looking to hire immediately after completion and passing.
Full-time availability (40 hours/week) with occasional limited overtime.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of manufacturing/production area
Assist in maintaining company equipment
Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign making professional
Qualifications
High school or equivalent
Drivers license (with a clean driving record)
Able to lift at least 60lbs
