First Atlantic Restoration is seeking a motivated, reliable, and personable Carpenter Apprentice in the Hampton Roads area. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to grow in their trade. This hands-on role works directly under a Lead Carpenter, gaining valuable experience in a variety of skills including light plumbing and electrical, drywall, painting, trim work, flooring, tile, cabinet installation, and more—across both residential and commercial projects. The apprentice will work toward the goal of becoming a skilled Carpenter, equipped to take on jobs independently and contribute to high-quality restoration work. Responsibilities:

· Complete carpentry tasks at assigned properties throughout Hampton Roads

· Demolition and framing; hang and case doors and windows; install cabinets

· Install LVP flooring, ceramic tile, trim, baseboard and crown molding

· Detach and reset cabinets and appliances to include washers, dryers, microwaves, dishwashers and ranges

· Light plumbing and electrical work

· Paint and patch drywall

· Install hardware and perform punch list work as necessary to complete a project

· Work with highly motivated team members to ensure efficient restoration processes

· Communicate effectively with clients and internal team members

· Adhere to safety protocols and regulations when using power tools and throughout restoration activities
