Responsibilities: • Perform rough framing tasks on properties affected by water, fire, mold, and more • Execute cabinet installations with precision and expertise • Skillfully handle finish carpentry work, including meticulous finish trim • Carry out minor electrical repairs as needed • Conduct minor plumbing repairs to ensure property functionality • Expertly install siding, windows, and doors on various properties • Master the art of interior door installations for a polished finish • Proficiently handle drywall installations and finishing touches • Capable of painting tasks, though it is preferred but not mandatory • Efficiently manage window and door board-ups when required • Secure properties with roof tarps as part of restoration efforts • Willingly take on additional tasks as necessary Qualifications: • To apply for the Carpenter position in Auburn Hills, Michigan, you must live within a 50-mile radius of the location • A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal tools are required for operating a company vehicle • Previous experience in siding, windows, framing, drywall, finish trim, cabinet installation, minor plumbing & electrical, and flooring is essential • Compliance with the company's drug-free policy is mandatory Compensation: $20 - $28 hourly
