About the Role:

Responsibilities:

Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and layout.

Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials using hand and power tools.

Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on all projects.

Collaborate with other tradespeople and contractors to complete projects efficiently.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing structures.

Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with clients and team members.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of completed projects.

Knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and safety practices.

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.

Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications are a plus.
