About Us: We are a dynamic outdoor construction and custom furniture company operating under two brands from one location: Dion City Landscapes (DCL) and The Carpentry Shop Co. (TCSC).

DCL, specializes in outdoor construction projects across NYC, including rooftop and backyard renovations. Our focus includes carpentry tasks such as building fences, decks, pergolas, benches, and outdoor kitchens, as well as installing rooftop pavers. -TCSC, is known for crafting custom furniture and working with live edge slabs. Our range includes dining tables, bookshelves, coffee tables, and more. Our workshop serves as both our production facility and design showroom.

Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Carpenter with a positive attitude, strong people and leadership skills, and a commitment to punctuality. If you are experienced and eager to contribute to a collaborative team, we would love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with customers, suppliers, and fellow professionals.
• Execute a variety of carpentry tasks with precision and skill.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Carpenter.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting measurements and technical drawings.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy materials.
• OSHA 10-hour and 30-hour certifications.
• Valid driver’s license and experience driving a box truck.
• Experience in:
• Deck construction, including framing, footings, and railings.
• Paver installation using Bison pedestals and various tiles.
• Fence building and installation, including custom designs.
• Furniture construction and joinery techniques (Domino joining, Mortise and Tenon, Dovetail).
• Sanding, finishing, and staining (water-based and oil-based).
• Using woodworking tools such as table saws, jointers, and CNC machines.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour, based on experience.
