HEAVYCRAFT is looking for dedicated and skilled Commercial Carpenters to join our team. This role involves supporting carpentry projects on a remote mine site. This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment in the mining industry!

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry tasks, including but not limited to building, assembling, and installing structural elements and frameworks, including walls, floors, doors, windows, cabinetry, and other fixtures made from wood or metal.
• Ability to read and interpret construction blue prints and plans.
• Support crew members with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and tools on site
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work assignments, prioritize and manage multiple assignments and tasks.
• Follow safety guidelines, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and adhere to all mine site safety protocols
• Assist with other duties as assigned by site management

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of construction experience.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening (required for mine site access)
• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Willingness to work extended hours, shifts, and occasional weekends as required by site operations
• Ability to live in a man camp for up to 21 days at a time.
