Responsibilities: • Build door and window frames, stairways, rafters, and partitions • Ensure roofing, floorings, and drywall are compatible and level • Read blueprints and sketches to fully grasp the requirements • Carve and build kitchen cabinets, siding, drywall, and furniture • Measure, cut, shape, and smooth carpentry materials • Selecting and preparing logs for construction according to project plans and specifications. • Cutting, shaping, and assembling logs using hand and power tools. • Installing insulation, windows, doors, and other fixtures in log structures. • Ensuring all work meets safety and building code standards. • Collaborating with architects, designers, and other team members to achieve project goals. Qualifications: • Strong measuring and math skills required • Great physical condition and dexterity • In-depth knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques • A high school diploma or GED is preferred • Driver’s license required • Proven experience as a Log Carpenter or in a similar role. • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment. • Strong knowledge of wood properties and woodworking techniques. • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings. • Attention to detail and precision in craftsmanship. • Physical strength and stamina to handle heavy logs and equipment. • Certification or training in carpentry is a plus.
