Job Summary
We are looking for skilled Carpenters to join our team! In this role, you will construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard using a carpenter’s hand and power tools. You are hard-working, a team player, and dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Significant past experience as a professional carpenter is highly preferred. Positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment
Experienced in interior work - metal stud/drywall, modular office panels, interior demolition
Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws
Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware
Interact with customers in a professional and friendly manner
Qualifications
Previous experience as a professional carpenter
Must have an understanding of basic math, architectural measurements & dimensions, grades & elevations, and commonly accepted means & methods of concrete formwork carpentry
Ability to read and correctly interpret blueprints, and to follow layout provided for the proposed work
Should be skilled with & be able to safely operate/use all carpentry tools including tape measure, rotary laser, string line, circular saw, levels, hammer & nails, chalk line, rotary hammer, square, etc.
