JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for someone that has 10+ years’ experience in Residential Construction to handle general labor tasks on our custom new homes. You need to have worked with new construction before, preferably with custom high end projects. Our jobs start with lot clearing and excavation and end with trim, appliances, and exterior hardscape/landscape. We subcontract our trade work, but need a handy person that can step in and handle the tasks that fall between the cracks.
This position will handle general labor and “jack of all trades” tasks. These include, but are not limited to, material runs, drywall patching, light carpentry (both framing and finish), site cleanup, material protection, material handling and prep and assisting the Site Supervisor and Project Manager as needed.
Our operations are technology driven. We use various software and hardware tools to keep all Team members in sync with our daily activities. Computer literacy is preferred. We use Smartsheet for our timecards, work logs, Daily Field Reports, Material Selections, Meeting Notes and Punch Lists. We use Teams to maintain internal project dialog and Outlook email for external communications.
The right candidate will have a truck with a current driver’s license and insurance coverage. A personal supply of small daily hand and power tools is needed as well. We do have a shop with some of the larger tools needed for offsite projects.
