Our property management/construction firm in Peoria, IL, US seeks an experienced Carpenter with the ability to work with ever-evolving tasks. The ideal candidate should be accustomed to a fast-paced work environment, with the capability to stick to deadlines. It is beneficial if the applicant has proficiency in plumbing and electrical processes. Outstanding communication and professional appearance are fundamental attributes of a successful candidate. Interfacing with tenants and realtors on a frequent basis is expected. Responsibilities: • Provide regular progress reports to the project manager and/or owner outlining the status of projects and estimated completion dates • Ensure tools and supplies are managed and organized in an effective manner • Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and job site before leaving the worksite each day • Remain flexible and adaptable to various tasks throughout the day • Be willing to learn new skills and techniques Qualifications: • Have a valid driver's license in Illinois • Preferably have at least two years of remodeling/construction experience, but will provide training to the right person • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds Compensation: $22 hourly DOE
