    Key Responsibilities:

    • Source and secure qualified carriers, ensuring compliance with performance and safety criteria.

    • Prepare competitive rate quotations that align with profit objectives and negotiate rates with carriers.

    • Sell freight to carrier partners, book shipments, and enter all relevant data into the Transportation Management System (TMS) in accordance with company procedures.

    • Track and report accurate, real-time shipment statuses to customers.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to enhance opportunities with current and potential clients.

    • Handle dispatch tasks and other responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

    • Stay informed about industry trends, including new product or service offerings, and evaluate their impact on the company.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate or bachelor’s degree.

    • Prior experience in logistics or customer service is a plus but not required.

    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    • Proficient in using computer applications (e.g., MS Office, Teams, GSuite) and capable of learning industry-specific software.

    • Ability to perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
