Position Summary
The legal intake specialist receives and qualifies new and prospective clients for The Firm. Responsible for managing the processes of onboarding new clients and evaluating incoming streams of claims and potential clients both on the phone and in person.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Evaluate prospective client inquiries and phone calls, analyzing their case fit and making sure they fit within the firm’s
Set appointments for potential clients that meet our criteria to keep our lawyers’ schedules organized and grow our caseload
Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently
Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiency
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
High school diploma or equivalent required;
Previous customer service or sales experience preferred
Possesses outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy
CRM and case management software experience a plus
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel
Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills
Previous legal experience a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional manner
