Job Summary
· These positions participate in developing and coordinating Marie’s House of Hope, Inc. program, working primarily with foster parents and adoptive families and Children in the independent living program. The position is responsible for training, fostering/adopting families, and teaching independent living skills.
General Accountabilities
Provide direct training services to clients
Interview prospective youths and determine appropriate placement.
Supervised youth in placement and coordination of community resources.
Meet weekly with youth
Orientation of youth
Development of treatment goals
Coordinate educational, medical, recreational, and mental health services within the community as deemed appropriate.
Write monthly progress reports based on the treatment goals to the referring agency.
Complete special incident reports to Executive Director.
Provide support and guidance to residents through weekly contact
Complete fifty (50) hours of training per year related to professional development.
Carry a caseload of 4-12 Residents.
Service as a Crisis intervention person for your caseload and “on Call” as assigned
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
Job Qualifications
Minimum Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree
Minimum Experience: 2 Years Combined education/experience as a substitute for the minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Social work
Preferred Experience: 2 or 3 Years
Preferred Field of Expertise: social work in a Business or industrial environment.
