    About the Role - Our Asbestos Paralegal Case Manager will be responsible for:

    Client Communication: Serve as the primary liaison for our clients, ensuring they receive timely, empathetic updates about the progress of their claims. Your role is crucial in making our clients feel supported and informed throughout the process.

    Client Investigations: Work with a team to investigate asbestos exposure through work and family history, to identify specific asbestos product exposure, produce the exposure affidavits, and obtain other exposure evidence need to successfully pursue asbestos bankruptcy claims on our clients’ behalf.

    Asbestos Bankruptcy Trust Claims: Work within a team to prepare asbestos bankruptcy claims, submit asbestos bankruptcy claims to the various asbestos trusts, and continually improve and optimize bankruptcy claim practices.

    Affidavit Preparation: Draft comprehensive product affidavits to substantiate client exposures, with a focus on detailed documentation of product identification and usage.

    Managing Workflow: Oversee the effective workflow of cases in our electronic case management system and assisting our Intake Team with managing and following the intake system.

    Point of Contact: Be the point of contact for our intake and work-up providers, our national referral and co-counsel, and staff and leaders at the Asbestos Bankruptcy Trust Administrators

    Qualifications - Qualified Candidates will have:

    Minimum of 5 years of prior asbestos legal experience.

    Experience in legal case management, specifically with a focus on asbestos bankruptcy trust claims.

    Proficiency in CRM systems, with a deep understanding of their role in enhancing client communication, data management, and workflow optimization.

    Familiarity and experience in filing, curing, and negotiating cases with asbestos bankruptcy trusts.

    High attention to detail and superior organizational skills.

    Conduct legal research to support attorneys in asbestos-related personal injury cases, including gathering information on asbestos-containing products, exposure sources, and relevant laws and regulations.

    Perform some administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars and handling correspondence related to asbestos cases.
