Our client is dedicated to providing personalized solutions and exceptional client service. As part of their expansion, they are seeking a motivated Case Manager to join their dynamic team.
Job Summary:
As a Case Manager for our client Tax Resolution department, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with resolving their tax-related challenges. This position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of experience in tax resolution, client services, or a related field, who is passionate about helping clients achieve successful outcomes. An Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is not required but is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of client cases, guiding them through the tax resolution process from start to finish.
- Gather and organize necessary documentation and financial information from clients to support their cases.
- Collaborate with tax professionals to develop strategies for resolving clients' tax issues, including offers in compromise, installment agreements, and penalty abatements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on case status and answering any questions or concerns.
- Prepare and submit required documentation to the IRS or state tax authorities, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and procedural requirements.
- Monitor case progress, follow up with tax authorities as needed, and ensure timely resolution of cases.
- Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and case activities in our case management system.
- Assist with client onboarding and case setup, ensuring a smooth transition into the resolution process.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of our case management processes.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in tax resolution, client services, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of tax resolution processes, including offers in compromise, installment agreements, and penalty abatements.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on client service.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to analyze and interpret financial information.
- Proficiency in using case management software and MS Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a strong sense of responsibility.
Preferred Qualifications:
