Cashiers oversee all aspects of the guest side of the restaurant in an efficient manner. The cashier will need a thorough understanding of the menu, ability to give loyal fan winning customer service, and possess a positive attitude while interacting with guests.
Duties include:
Open to close and close to open.
Taking guest orders upon arrival or over the phone and correctly entering guest order in POS system in an efficient manner.
Double check orders when they come from the kitchen before giving to guest (either in restaurant or takeout food).
Accepting payments via card or cash, ensuring that order is correct based of guest order.
Presenting food to guests.
Clean, clear, and sanitize workspace.
Stock takeout products.
Requirements:
Must be 18 of age or over
Capacity to give fan winning customer service in a fast-paced work environment.
Good verbal communication skills
A smile loudly positive attitude.
Ability to work standing for a significant amount of time
An eye for details.
Excellent organization and problem solving skills.
