We are looking for one person to have 2 roles on a weekly basis divided between cashiering and hosting.
HOST JOB DESCRIPTION:
SMILE, SMILE, SMILE! —appearance must be nice, neat and clean, proper uniform according to our requirements
Greet customers with a friendly greeting, good morning or good afternoon before you ask “How many in your party?”
Have the ability to provide customers with accurate wait times
Be able to stand on your feet for 6 hour increments
Learn how to rotate seating between different sections to ensure even workloads for waitstaff
must be able to effectively communicate with bussers, servers and management
In the event of a problem please always get a manager
Keep front door windexed and floor area clean from debris
Clean menus as needed throughout the day
Complete side work before leaving and check out with a manager
Have a food handlers certificate (or obtain one within 2 weeks of being hired) and understand the restaurant’s sanitation rules
Any other duties deemed necessary by management
CASHIER JOB DESCRIPTION:
Stand on feet for 6 hours at a time
Greet customers politely & quickly when arriving and leaving
Properly run cash register, count back change & thoroughly run credit card machines.
Learn the menu for take out orders
Phone etiquette and properly take to go orders
Learn take out bagging system
Do daily & weekly side work after each shift
Be attentive at all times
