Mayo Garden Centers is a family owned and operated business that was founded in 1878. Cashiers are extremely important to our business. Applicant must be friendly and outgoing to interact with customers and willing to learn about our wide variety of merchandise. The ability to accurately ring up merchandise, accept payment, and make change is a must. Applicants must also be able to answer the phone and greet customers in a friendly manner. This is a full time hourly position that is eligible to earn monthly commissions. Pay is based upon experience

· Health Insurance, Life Insurance and Dental Insurance are available to all full time employees. Mayo's pays half of the cost for the employee and any family members on the plan. Employees also accrue sick pay each week that can be used if the employee is too sick to come to work.
· Mayo's pays for vacation time based upon hours worked and length of employment.
· Mayo's also pays employees for all holidays that Mayo's closes for.

Very few Sundays are required (Mayo's is closed on Sundays except for April, May and December) and no evenings.
Applicants will have a set schedule from week to week with their day off being the same each week.
