Ellis Home & Garden in Longview, Tx is now accepting applications for Cashiers and Sales Floor Associate positions. These positions will help operate our store on a day-to-day basis. Ellis Home & Garden is a family-owned and operated business that offers flexible scheduling, a family-oriented atmosphere, and a great working environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

Cashiers will be the face of the company and usually the first person that our customers see when they come to our store. Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers, processing transactions accurately, answering phone calls, and any other assigned duties. The Sales Floor Associate will be responsible for working throughout the store stocking, pricing and assisting customers with purchases or questions. This position will also be trained as a Cashier. Experience working retail is preferred, but not necessary. We will teach you all that you need to know! Other duties include unloading delivery trucks, cleaning, stocking and any other assigned duties.

Qualifications and Skills

High School Diploma or GED required

Some college preferred

Some heavy lifting 50+/- pounds

Comfortable working in all weather conditions periodically

Computer proficiency required

Retail point of sale experience preferred

Cash handling experience (Cashier position)

Must be available Nights & Weekends

Must be 18 years of age

Pay starting $10.00 per hour
