Position Summary
The Cashier is responsible for maintaining guest service as per company standard, generating sales, housekeeping, cash register operations (POS), and loss prevention in adherence to all company policies/store standards. All cashiers must have a valid Basset Certification. This position is expected to tend to guest requests, maintain bar prep (garnish and batch), keep guest areas clean and orderly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: • Ensure each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest friendly environment which includes greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service • Maintain an awareness of all product knowledge information and advertisements • Assist in floor moves, display maintenance, and housekeeping • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and practices including signing, and loss prevention • Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and media accountabilities at POS registers • Communicate guest requests to the back of house team to ensure accuracy of orders • Maintain a clean and orderly front of restaurant area including light dusting, sweeping, mopping as needed to ensure safe areas for guests • Be able to prepare batched cocktails by following receipts according to the Company Standards. • Perform other duties as assigned
Lead Bartender / Cashier - Min 2-3 years experience as Lead Bar or Bar Manager. Duties additionally included inventory, knowledge of computer programs such as Excel or Google Sheets.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) • High school diploma or GED preferred • One to two years prior cashier experience • Basset Certification is required • Basic knowledge of POS systems
Food Handler's Certification also required.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
