Cassandra Administrator (2 Positions)

Location: Irving, TX or Miami, FL

Job Type: Contract, Onsite

Job Summary: We are seeking experienced Cassandra Administrators to manage and optimize Cassandra database clusters. Candidates should have a strong background in NoSQL database administration and performance tuning.

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and manage Cassandra clusters.

Monitor and optimize database performance, including indexing and caching strategies.

Ensure data security and perform regular backups and recovery.

Collaborate with developers to design effective data storage and retrieval solutions.

Provide 24/7 support for production Cassandra databases.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

3+ years of experience with Cassandra database administration.

Proficiency in NoSQL database design and query optimization.

Strong scripting skills (Python, Shell, etc.).

Cassandra certification is a plus.
