About the role We are seeking a Catering Attendant to join the team at Savory Hospitality at one of our onsite business dining spaces. Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our client with a heavy focus on food and beverage presentation, replenishment, safety, and high-end product quality. The Catering Attendant will successfully set up, replenish, and safely receive Savory commissary orders while embodying the full Savory spirit and providing exceptional hospitality at every step. This position also supports the Barista team during busy periods.
Our business dining experiences are one of our unique services that offer team members the experience of working alongside the Savory team as well as directly interfacing with our onsite client on a day-to-day basis.
This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our onsite Catering Attendant:
Embody Savory’s core hospitality standards at every turn, externally with our guests and internally with teammates
Review and revise food presentation with precise attention to detail
Craft espresso drinks, serve coffee and tea in support of the Barista team
Ensure that the buffet is always fully stocked and ready to serve incoming guests
Assist in serving guests in a professional and courteous manner
Communicate dynamically, both internally and externally with all levels of both organizations: upper management, associates, clients, and back-of-house culinary team
Maximize downtime during shifts by proactively completing side work to maintain a smooth workflow at all times

Your experience should show us the following:
Prior Barista experience highly preferred!
Previous experience in hospitality: catering assistant, server, or other guest-facing role
Proven ability to anticipate guest needs and multitask
Knowledge of Department of Health food safety best practices
A true team player: reliable, diligent, dedicated, communicative, and collaborative
Job requirements:
Capability to maintain a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods in varying temperature conditions
Ability to repeatedly lift up to 25lbs
DOH Food Handler’s certificate preferred
Willingness to work a daytime schedule Monday – Friday and occasionally including nights, weekends, or holidays
