Role Overview:
As a Catering Coordinator, you’ll be the communication hub between our kitchen staff and sales team, helping us pull off everything from small private dinners to large-scale events. This role is ideal for someone who loves a good plan, stays calm under pressure, and enjoys both behind-the-scenes prep and occasional customer interaction.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate catering schedules, staffing, and vehicle assignments
Communicate with the Catering Sales Director and kitchen staff to ensure smooth event execution
Develop food prep and oven plans for events
Train and support new catering leads
Maintain accurate records and event documentation
Respond to new leads and customer messages (especially when sales staff is unavailable)
Create plans to stay ahead of the rush during peak seasons
Join regular planning meetings with the Catering Sales Director and General Manager
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Clear communication – written and verbal
Able to work weekends and peak event times
Comfortable leading others and managing multiple priorities
Experience with catering, hospitality, or events is a plus (but not required)
Familiarity with software like Tripleseat is a bonus
