    (Part-time 20 hrs per week to start with progression to Full-time possible) Rate: $18-23 /hr Hours: **This position does not have set hours, hours will vary depending on business levels

    Responsibilities include:

    • Responding to all restaurant event inquiries via email and phone

    • Meeting with potential restaurant clients to identify the needs and requirements of their events

    • Creating Banquet Event Orders

    • Managing Booking Calendar in Catering Software

    • Manage Client Response Surveys

    • Weekly BEO Meeting preparation

    • Assisting in the set-up and tear-down of restaurant events

    • Invoicing and Accounts Receivable

    • Maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure repeat business

    • Administrative event support tasks I.E. creating/updating event orders, creating place cards, scheduling venue tours, catering permitting needs, etc.

    Requirements: -1+ years experience in event planning -Strong organizational skills -Clean professional appearance -Exceptional customer service skills -Clear and professional communication skills -Ability to Multi-task -Strong sales skills

    -Ability to problem solve and stay calm under pressure
