Job Overview:
ESO Consultants is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team on a crisis response contract. The role involves performing a variety of procedures, including balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, thrombectomy, and left & right heart catheterizations. The ideal candidate will have extensive Cath Lab experience and be comfortable with telemetry, structural heart, and TAVR procedures in a high-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scrub and monitor various Cath Lab procedures, including complex PCI, stent placements, and Impella insertions.
- Operate PA lines and telemetry, with expertise in structural heart procedures.
- Provide support in the patient holding area within the Cath Lab as needed.
- Participate in call rotations, including weekend and callback requirements.
- Use EPIC and MAC Lab systems for charting and patient management.
Requirements:
- Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in Cath Lab.
- Certifications:
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- RCIS or ARRT certification required.
- Skills: Required skills include scrub, monitor, telemetry, and experience with structural heart and TAVR.
- Preferred Skills: Circulate, IV start, conscious sedation, rhythm interpretation, Watchman procedures, and septal closures.
- First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes.
Work Schedule:
- Shift: 4x10-hour days, Monday-Friday (07:00 AM - 05:30 PM).
- Call Requirements: Callback and weekend call required.
- Weekend Requirements: With callback.
Additional Information:
- RTO Policy: No RTO (Requested Time Off) after booking is allowed. Any call-offs or additional RTO may result in cancellation.
- Floating Requirements: May float to EP, though rarely required.
- Scrub Color: Provided by facility.
- Charting System: EPIC and MAC Lab.
