Join Our Team as a School-Based Occupational Therapist in Los Altos, CA!
Celebrations Speech Group is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for an in-person, school-based position in Los Altos, CA. This role offers a flexible schedule, approximately 32 hours per week, within a supportive and dynamic team. Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy services to elementary and middle school students in a collaborative environment with extensive professional development opportunities.
About the Role
Caseload: Work with students from preschool to 8th grade.
Schedule: Approximately 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to meet school needs.
Responsibilities
Provide individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services to students.
Conduct assessments to identify students' needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to support students' functional and academic performance.
Document therapy sessions, maintain accurate records, and monitor student progress.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting and strategy development.
Communicate with families and caregivers about student progress and therapy goals.
Qualifications
Required: Current California OT License.
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Experience in a school setting is preferred.
Strong ability to collaborate with staff and build rapport with students.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and adapt to diverse student needs.
